History

Dr. O'Dea was born in Ireland, raised and educated in Dublin where he attended medical school at the National University of Ireland's University College Dublin campus.  He received his postgraduate training in Cleveland, Ohio including internship and residency in Internal Medicine and full training in Endocrinology & Metabolism through an NIH fellowship with the University Hospitals' Group at Case Western Reserve University.  Practicing for many years in the Los Angeles area, his interests outside of family & medicine include classical music, Asian philosophy, the care of African cichlids and Irish Rugby Union Football.
