Adjusting to your early responses to treatment.

Emotional changes including the elimination of gender dysphoria & feminization of the personality appear rapidly whereas physical changes are slower, varying from person to person & are non-linear, slowing down, then speeding up unpredictably, depending on both dosage & individual sensitivity.  Adjusting to you responses, dosages are modified & individualized at follow-up visits, which may be less frequent if you live afar. Sporadically we jointly reassess the direction & trajectory of your progress & address specific matters such as sexual function or weight gain & the need to vary your hormonal balance & redefine your long term goals.
