transgender hormonal therapy
The safest yet paradoxically most rapidly effective form of hormone therapy requires endocrine training, knowledge, intelligence & expertise, leading to the natural beauty of 'Fractal Feminization'.
If it weren't for the ignorant in our society, you wouldn't require privacy, but if you feel you need it, you certainly deserve to get it. Our relatively small, 3 story building in quiet Marina Del Rey has 2 lobbies. As you enter the South lobby our office door is right in front of you & there is only one other office on the ground floor with little or no traffic, so access is very private & no one is likely to bother you, especially in L.A. where people mind their own business. They just don't care as long as you do your job.
We are about 10 minutes from Los Angeles airport with at most one or two turns in the road, almost impossible to get lost. You bypass most of the city so its not intimidating. For surface access, we are just one city block away from the end of the 90 freeway, which loops across from the main, 405 north-south freeway to the the Marina at the Pacific ocean.
We have been treating transgendered women for 30 years. We enjoy most of our patients because trans-women are generally very smart, & smart people are far easier to get along with. We are easy-going people who understand your needs & like you, we just don't want people to mess with us.
Not at all. We do not believe in protocols, either from Harry Benjamin or from anybody else. Only the trans-woman herself can make the diagnosis of being transgendered, since transsexuality is not, definitively not a psychological aberration, it is wired, & I don't know a clinical psychologist who can see inside your head on the nano-scale.
Contacting us at O'Dea Medical Hormone Centers is easy, fast & private. Complete privacy is maintained & if required you can use a pseudonym. When ready to initiate transgender hormone therapy feel free to contact us, to explore our website in detail or to schedule an appointment.
We supply you with the invoices & chart notes you need for your insurance. Just remember that many or most insurance companies refuse to pay for sophisticated trans-care, if any. When they do agree to pay up it is usually only for the costs of low level care such as oral hormone therapy, which although cheapest is the riskiest & the least effective form of feminizing hormone therapy available. Let's face it, you get what you pay for.
Natalie was deeply frustrated by her lack of feminization after 3 years of hormone therapy. She certainly experienced the side-effects but didn't get the feminization she urgently craved.
Sandy came to us as a healthy, highly intelligent, pre-operative trans-girl in her early 20s who had a family problem obstructing her desire for feminization.
Wendy had gender reassignment surgery in her mid-20s. Once post-op she was maintained on 2mg of micronized oral estradiol a day for many years. Little did she know that 2 mg estradiol wasn't actually what she was getting.
